What is Continuing Professional Development (CPD)?

Modified on Sat, 27 Jun at 3:02 PM

Continuing Professional Development (CPD) refers to ongoing learning and development that helps certified HR professionals strengthen and maintain the competencies and HR knowledge needed to perform effectively in their roles.

IHRP-certified professionals are strongly encouraged to continue updating and upskilling themselves throughout their 3-year certification period.

For IHRP-CPs and IHRP-SPs, a total of 45 CPD hours must be completed within the certification period to meet the IHRP recertification eligibility criteria.

CPD hours can be earned through a range of activities - please refer to the CPD activities for the full list of eligible activities. Check out the CPD activities here.
